Line Rock at the Little Three Mine

Here Jeff Krogstad is seen underground at the Little Three Mine.  Note the banding in the rock face.  This
is termed "line rock" and the lines are made up of tiny tourmaline and garnet crystal.  Notice the warping
of the lines on the left, perhaps caused by flow around a large crystal.  Line rock is often indicative of a
favorable dike for finding crystal pockets.
